LILITH
·

A legendary figure in Jewish folklore, Lilith was the first wife of Adam, created from dust, just like him, she was self-exiled from paradise in open avoidance of his rules. Known as Queen of the Night by the resemblance of her name to the Hebrew word for night, “laila”, she is described as a devil, who devoted herself to pleasure and procreation.

Despite the exacerbation of her negative traits in the Jewish legend, we consider Lilith as a necessary, even blessed, feminine energy. She is the indomitable; refuses the rules of morality and lives by no imposition outside of her own rules.
